Docking rubber airbags, also called rubber roller, docking air bags, ship salvage airbag, launching pontoon , now have become one convenient ship launching method in many shipyards, especially where slipways are not available.

The process of ship launching by airbags
1.Preparing for launching ramp way and all needed equipments.
Select and check suitable docking rubber airbag size and quantity for boat, tide up the launching ramp way, fix the ship by winch and anchors.
2.Taking out all support blocks under stern and middle one by one, and put in airbags.
3.Taking out all support blocks under the prow. Open winch and release the cable, let the ship launch to water.
4.Checking all the deckhouse after launching, retrieving all air bags at meantime.
Attentions during docking rubber airbag use for ship launching
1.Docking rubber airbags must be checked if the pressure is normal before used.
2.The working pressure of docking rubber airbag when used should compare the data in the bearing pressure capacity from mustn't use excessive pressure.
3.It must clean the sharp and protrude hard objects on the ground which could touch with the rubber airbag body before the rubber airbag being used, in case it punchures the surface of the airbag.
4.The distance of the docking rubber airbags under the vessel should no less than 1.5m, the distance after compression should at least 0.8m, in case it occurs the rubber airbag overlapping phenomenon when the boat launching.
